GentleSoft is Bedsure’s own fabric finish for its fleece and sherpa blankets. The fibers are brushed and treated so the surface stays smooth and plush instead of turning rough after a few washes. On the sherpa fleece blanket, one side is velvety flannel and the other is thicker sherpa, so you can flip it for more or less warmth.
If you get cold easily, go for a sherpa or faux fur throw. If you sleep hot, skip the heavy sherpa and pick the bamboo cooling blanket or the cotton waffle blanket, since both let air through and don’t trap heat. Twin sizes fit dorm and kids’ beds, and queen sizes cover full and queen mattresses.
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, with no bleach. Yes, it can go in the dryer: use low heat and take it out as soon as it’s dry. Go easy on fabric softener, because it can flatten fleece over time. The softness is there from the first night, and a few loose fibers after the first wash are normal for sherpa.
